General Instructions

(Allow the video to repeat until you receive a response or the desired time)

(Use the video as you like or as training until you have your own inner dialog)

Squeeze… Ask… Listen…

    • This is the loop you repeat as many times as needed until you receive a notable response.
    • Relax. Suspend disbelief. Remove expectations. Stop judging. There is only asking and listening here.
    • Add deep breathing and straighten body posture if desired.
    • (Sit, stand, run, dance…  Practiced anywhere at anytime.)

The Ask:

    • The Ask is the only part that changes between expression loops.
    • We begin the practice with the suggested ASK for each expression.
    • Recognizing their distinct responses allows us to pair the right question with the right expression.

Explanation:

  1. Squeeze the fingernail. This is the Neuro-Anchor that will allow you to quickly shift into a specific expression.
  2. Ask the question with all our heart allows the brain to release control in order to seek answers from a higher expression.
  3. Listen for a clear image or epiphany of your personal expression to awaken your authentic-self.

Visit The Science page for an in-depth description of what each step does in the brain.

The Rules of Engagement

For this practice to work immediately, employ these simple rules during the exercises:

  • Suspend Disbelief: The temporary, voluntary decision to set aside logical doubts and accept an impossible premise to fully engage with and enjoy a concept, story, performance, or art.
  • Remove Expectations: Instruct your brain to become a receptor instead of a megaphone. Listen, don’t control! Shifts and epiphanys increase with practice.
  • Do not Judge the Epiphanys: Judging, good or bad, right or wrong, real or unreal, changes this from an experience to a Brain Expression excercise. Just let your insights calmly sit with you.
